Objective To investigate the effect of hearing aid fitting on 136 hearing-impaired patients

to investigate the effect of using hearing aids in daily life and its influencing factors

so as to provide reference for hearing aid fitting and project implementation. Method Hearing loss degree and the type of hearing threshold curve of patients were investigated by asking medical history

carrying out otoendoscopy examination and pure tone hearing test. The international outcome questionnaire for hearing aids（IOI-HA） was used to evaluate the effect of hearing aids through face-to-face interview or telephone follow-up

and the scores of IOI-HA were compared in different wearing time

hearing loss degree and hearing threshold curve. Results 118（86.76%） of 118 hearing aid users thought that wearing hearing aids could help their life more than moderately; 130（95.6%） hearing aid users thought that their life satisfaction was improved moderately or more after using hearing aids; the average scores of "daily use time" and "difficulties in participating in social activities" were different among different age groups

and the difference was statistically significant as the age increases

the average score of the above two items gradually decreases. To evaluate the effect of wearing hearing aids in patients with different education level

hearing loss level and hearing threshold curve

the analysis found no significant difference between groups. Conclusion（1） The hearing aid users are generally satisfied with the hearing aids distributed by the Disabled Persons’ Federation

and the use of the hearing aids is good.（2）When using the hearing aids

it is necessary to strongly advocate the wearing of the hearing aids and the early intervention.（3）The management of the fallow-up of the hearing aid users should be strengthened. The defects and problems of the hearing aids should be corrected and debugging timely.
