Objective To explore the correlation between the management of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) and the hearing recovery of patients undergoing middle ear surgery. Methods A total of 69 patients undergoing middle ear surgery in our hospital from May 2019 to April 2020 were selected. All patients were randomly divided into an observation group of 35 cases and a control group of 34 cases. ERAS management in the observation group; routine management in the control group. Observe the hearing classification
hearing recovery and satisfaction with management of the two groups after management. Results The hearing condition of the patients in the observation group after management was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05). The total effective rate of hearing recovery in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The observation group’s satisfaction with management was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). The length of hospitalization and hospitalization expenses in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group(P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion ERAS management is closely related to the postoperative hearing recovery of patients undergoing middle ear surgery. ERAS management can significantly improve postoperative hearing recovery and reduce complications.
