The COVID-19 epidemic has had many impacts on the healthcare. Cochlear implantation (CI)
a common procedure in otolaryngology
head and neck surgery
was also affected during the outbreak. In this paper
the influence of COVID-19 virus on the hearing of patients
the impact of the pandemic on the hearing recovery after CI surgery and the effect of postoperative rehabilitation were expounded
in order to provide new ideas for improving the postoperative effect of cochlear implant in patients under this new situation.
