The proliferation of mobile devices
cloud computing and artificial intelligence has given rise to new development spaces for hearing services. Based on new technologies
this study proposes a new service framework
Hearing as a Service (HaaS)
which is a supplement to the traditional hearing medical service system. HaaS is a cloud-based hearing service
including edge hearing devices
internet-connected gateways
and cloud and big data support. As a supplement to the traditional medical service system
the benefits of HaaS include providing more hearing services through cloud computing services
covering more hearing users
and improving cost efficiency
as well as expanding the scalability of hearing medical resources. The HaaS platform can also provide multi-dimensional hearing services for hearing users
hearing medical personnel and hearing equipment manufacturers. For now
HaaS is still in its early stages and there are many challenges ahead.
