Through observation
interview
auditory language assessment
and a 21-month individualized family help plan (IFHP) intervention
this study took a 14-month-old child with hearing impairment as an example to explore.
Results
2
There was no significant difference in the rehabilitation effect between the child in this case and the hearing-impaired peers taking the institutional rehabilitation during the same period. The gaps in listening
speech
language and movement
cognition
social interaction
and other aspects gradually narrowed and the child's abilities tended to accord.
Conclusion
2
The systematic
standardized
and professional IFHP model intervention has a positive impact on the hearing and speech rehabilitation of young hearing-impaired children and the mastery of parental core knowledge and skills. It is a new model of effective family early intervention.
