A Case Study on the Process of Digital Cognitive Rehabilitation Training in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
effect and user experience of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using a digital cognitive rehabilitation software based on applied behavior analysis theory.
Methods

Selecting a 5.5-year-old ASD child as a case to conduct digital cognitive rehabilitation training for 3 months
and using interview and data analysis to sort out the user experience
rehabilitation and effect.
Results

The ASD child and her parents had a positive experience of digital cognitive rehabilitation training. In 3 months
the individual's training content involved a total of 57 individualized education programs (IEP)
13 IEPs were newly acquired
and 23% of the rehabilitation program was completed. Both the overall and independent IEP training processes showed learning effects.
Conclusion

Digital cognitive rehabilitation training is feasible
and children with ASD can acquire cognitive skills through digital cognitive rehabilitation training
but researchers need to further improve the function of parents participating in children's digital rehabilitation training.
