A Review of Phonological Processing Skill for Hearing-Impaired Children
The current study firstly reviews the research contents on the phonological processing skill of hearing-impaired children in recent 20 years from the three aspects of phonological awareness
phonological recoding and verbal working memory
and then it summarizes the previous achievements and research gap
and provides some suggestions to the directions of future studies of the phonological processing mechanism for hearing-impaired children.
