评估单侧聋(single sided deafness,SSD)及不对称听力损失(asymmetric hearing loss,AHL)患者人工耳蜗植入(CI)术后1年主观听觉满意度。
方法

本研究为前瞻性队列研究,共纳入2020年8月~2024年3月首都医科大学北京同仁医院行CI的SSD及AHL患者16例。使用中文版助听器效果评估简表(abbreviated profile of hearing aid benefit,APHAB)评估患者CI术前、术后主观听觉满意度变化及相关影响因素。
结果

患者CI后,患耳助听听阈较术前明显改善。术后APHAB问卷总分及交流的难易(ease of communication,EC)和背景噪声(backgroud noise,BN)两个分量表较术前显著改善(
P
<0.05),而回声(revereration,RV)和对声音的厌恶程度(aversiveness,AV)两个分量表未见显著差异(
P
>0.05)。对EC、BN、RV及AV4个分量表影响因素的相关性分析发现,APHAB问卷总分及BN及RV得分与SSD受试者听力损失时间呈正相关,SSD受试者听力损失时间越长,CI术后对噪声环境下及回声环境下言语交流改善满意程度越高。
结论

CI可以帮助SSD及AHL患者恢复双耳听觉,提升使用者噪声环境下的言语交流能力。
Objectives

To evaluate of One-Year Subjective Auditory Satisfaction Following Cochlear Implantation in Patients with Single-Sided Deafness (SSD) and Asymmetric Hearing Loss (AHL).
Methods

This study is a prospective cohort study
which including 16 patients with Single-Sided Deafness (SSD) and Asymmetric Hearing Loss (AHL) who underwent cochlear implantation (CI) at Beijing Tongren Hospital
Capital Medical University
from August 2020 to March 2024. The Chinese version of the Abbreviated Profile of Hearing Aid Benefit (APHAB) was used to assess the changes in subjective auditory satisfaction and influencing factors in SSD and AHL patients one year after CI.
Results

After cochlear implantation (CI)
patients with Single-Sided Deafness (SSD) and Asymmetric Hearing Loss (AHL) showed significant improvement in the hearing thresholds of the affected ear compared to preoperative levels. The total scor
e of the APHAB questionnaire and the subscales for Ease of Communication (EC) and Background Noise (BN) showed significant improvement one year after CI (

0.05)
while the subscales for Reverberation (RV) and Aversiveness (AV) showed no significant differences (

0.05). Correlation analysis of the influencing factors for EC
BN
RV
and AV subscales revealed a positive correlation between the total APHAB score and the scores for BN and RV with the duration of hearing loss in the subjects. The longer the hearing loss duration in SSD users
the higher their satisfaction with improvements in speech communication in noisy and reverberant environments after CI.
Conclusion

Cochlear implantation (CI) can help patients with Single-Sided Deafness (SSD) and Asymmetric Hearing Loss (AHL) restore binaural hearing and improve speech communication ability in noisy environments.
