To explore the effect of cochlear implantation on the rehabilitation of hearing and speech in children with internal auditory canal stenosis and white matter abnormalities.
Methods
2
The hearing and speech ability of a child with internal auditory canal stenosis and cerebral white matter abnormality in the rehabilitation period of 2 years were analyzed by tracing the results of sound field hearing threshold
Ling's six sounds test
auditory language ability
categories of auditory performance (CAP) and speech intelligibility rating (SIR)
and the staged evaluation of her learning ability.
Results
2
There is a difference in the stuble hearing threshold between the left and right ears of the child after CI
and the right ear cannot recognize the Ling's six sounds and speech after 2 years
the hearing and language abilities of the child reached Grade 2
the auditory behavior reached Grade 5
and the speech intelligibility reached Grade 3.
Conclusion
2
Cochlear implantation can improve the hearing and speech ability of children with internal auditory canal stenosis and white matter abnormalities. According to the particularity of children
it is necessary to flexibly use rehabilitation teaching methods to improve the quality of rehabilitation.
