Objective To study the intervention effect of positive behavior support strategies on self-injury behavior of autistic children
and to provide reference for the intervention of self-injury behavior of autistic children. Methods A functional assessment was performed on the case through direct observation records. Based on the results of the assessment
an intervention plan for antecedent control
teaching alternative behaviors and consequential handling were formulated
and implemented for ten weeks. Results Functional behavioral assessment can correctly and effectively find the function of self-injury behavior in children with autism. Positive behavioral support program can effectively reduce the self-injury behavior of autistic children.Positive behavioral support program can increase autism positive behavior of children. Parent participation can strengthen the positive behavior of autistic children and improve the quality of their life. Conclusion Positive behavior support technology is effective in the intervention of self-injury behavior.
