      摘要:This article discusses the speech chain concept and its alignment with the World Health Organization's (WHO) International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11), in particular, its correspondence to the three types of developmental speech and language disorders: (6A01.0) Developmental Speech Sound Disorder, (6A01.1) Developmental Speech Fluency Disorder, and (6A01.2) Developmental Language Disorder. The article also discusses social cognitive factors beyond the speech chain, taking a multi-faceted approach to exploring the pathology and intervention effectiveness of child speech-language disorders. It hopes that speech-language therapy can evolve towards more collaborative, technologically integrated, and personalized healthcare services.

      Norms and Standardization in Audiology

      摘要:ObjectiveTo complete the quality control of newborn hearing screening and diagnosis & treatment institutions for children's hearing impairment in Shandong Province, and strengthen the measurement traceability of audiological equipment.MethodsThe Health Commission of Shandong Province entrusted Shandong Provincial ENT Hospital, in collaboration with the National Institute of Metrology, to formulate a calibration program for those institutions around Shandong Province. The Provincial Quality Control Center had preliminarily summarized the equipment .The provincial quality control center preliminarily summiarized the equipment requiring calibration, made the schedule, and National Institute of Metrology calibrated on-site at city-level quality control centers. Ultimately, the survey questionnaires and calibration results were compiled, analyzed, and fed back.ResultsThroughout the implementation of the program, a total of 191 institutions were enrolled and 449 hearing devices were calibrated. Among them, 131 devices (29.2%) had calibration records within the past three years, while the remaining 318 devices (70.8%) could not provide the calibration records. Additionally, 54 devices (11.9%) could not be calibrated.ConclusionThe organization of province-wide calibration program was a pioneering effort. Not only did the implementation of this program provided valuable experience for future equipment quality control work in Shandong Province, but also served as a model for similar projects in other provinces.

      摘要:With the development and widespread adoption of Internet technology, telehealth has gained significant recognition and application. Tele-audiometry technologies involve the utilization of information and communication technologies to deliver audiological services, offering advantages such as convenience, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and automation. It has the potential to provide audiological services to regions with limited resources, reducing the cost of audiological evaluations, improving screening efficiency, and enabling large-scale, wide-reaching hearing services. However, Tele-audiometry still faces numerous limitations that may impact the accuracy and accessibility of hearing assessments. In this paper, we review the historical development and status of Tele-audiometry technology, analyzed its strengths and limitations, and provided a reference for further research and application of Tele-audiometry.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate masseter vestibular myogenic evoked potentials (mVEMP) elicited by different stimuli in healthy individuals.Methods31 healthy subjects with normal hearing were selected. The individuals underwent mVEMP testing using distinct stimuli, including 500 Hz tone burst, 1000 Hz tone burst, and click. After the testing, the latency of P11 and P21 waves, P11-N21 inter-peak intervals, and P11-N21 wave amplitudes were meticulously recorded. After data collection, calculations were conducted to determine the latency symmetry coefficient, amplitude ratio, and amplitude asymmetry ratio.ResultsStatistically significant differences were observed in the latency of P11 and N21 waves, P11-N21 inter-peak intervals, and P11-N21 wave amplitudes elicited by different auditory stimuli in mVEMP testing (P<0.05). However, there were no statistically significant differences in latency symmetry coefficient, amplitude ratio, and amplitude asymmetry ratio (P>0.05).ConclusionEmploying 500Hz tone burst as stimuli for inducing mVEMP in normal individuals resulted in higher wave amplitudes and more easily distinguishable waveforms, and there was no effect on the amplitude ratio or amplitude asymmetry ratio results.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo study the attenuation effects of headphones and insert earphones on sound of different frequencies in sound field testing.Methods40 people with normal hearing were selected to measure the hearing thresholds without earphones of both ears under sound field conditions, and then wear headphones and insert earphones in both ears, when the earphones did not give sound, the hearing thresholds of both ears after wearing different types of earphones were measured under sound field conditions. Compare the attenuation effects of different types of earphones on sound of different frequencies under sound field conditions.ResultsThe sound attenuation values of headphones in the 0.25-8 kHz octave range were 6.13±2.40 dB HL, 7.00±3.36 dB HL, 12.50±3.92 dB HL, 18.75±5.03 dB HL, 28.25±6.56 dB HL, 17.50±5.99 dB HL, respectively; The sound attenuation values of insert earphones in the 0.25-8 kHz octave range were 16.88±5.27 dB HL, 18.13±5.27 dB HL, 22.38±4.08 dB HL, 31.25±4.49 dB HL, 36.13±5.49 dB HL, 35.50±6.68 dB HL, respectively.ConclusionThe attenuation effects of two different types of earphones at different frequencies are significant, The attenuation values of sound increased with the increase of frequency, and the effect is more significant in the range of 1-8 kHz, and the attenuation effect of insert earphones is significantly better than that of headphones.

      Treatment of Speech and Language Disorders in Children

      摘要:ObjectiveDevelop and validate a Chinese Language Development Vocabulary Assessment Scale for children.MethodsUtilizing convenience sampling, 906 children aged 2.5 to 6.5 years from various kindergartens and 101 children with developmental speech or language disorders were evaluated using this scale. Results Statistical analyses, including item analysis, and tests for reliability and validity were performed.ResultsThe research showed that, except for one vocabulary comprehension question, all other items demonstrated statistical significance. Exploratory factor analysis revealed four common factors each for vocabulary comprehension and expression, with cumulative contribution rates of 54% and 45%, respectively. The scale includes 20 vocabulary comprehension questions and 25 vocabulary expression questions, with good internal consistency reliability and split-half reliability coefficients.ConclusionThe scale is a reliable and effective tool for assessing vocabulary development in Chinese preschoolers and offers a valuable resource for diagnosing and treating speech or language disorders in children.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo develop a group therapy framework that balances language ability enhancement with the transition to school education.MethodsThe approach involves adjusting the conventional early intervention methods used in medical units according to the needs of the schools observed. This is further refined by incorporating accumulated data from early interventions and group therapy tracking, focusing on students' school performance and feedback from various stakeholders, thereby iteratively revising the group class implementation model in early intervention.ResultsWe Successfully established a comprehensive set of group class assignment standards, progressive therapy objectives, methods, and interactive skills.ConclusionThis early intervention group therapy program has achieved good results, which is worthy applying in other institutions.

      摘要:The segmentation-blending method, grounded in mandarin Chinese's one-sound-per-character and syllabic regularity, is pivotal in childhood speech sound disorder interventions. This method enables the easy creation of target and supporting sounds through segmentation and blending, utilizing phonemes or syllables within children's sound inventory. It effectively eliminates phonological processes and facilitate the acquisition of new sounds, making it an efficient approach to achieving speech goals for children. This paper highlights Mandarin's key phonological features from a therapeutic perspective, emphasizing essential segmentation and blending techniques, prevalent phonological processes speech sound disorder, and the procedure of the Segmentation-Blending Method in intervention.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the quantitative and qualitative effects of voice therapy in one adolescent with purberphonia through clinical interview, acoustic evaluation and voice facilitating techniques.MethodsThe treatment encompassed an initial voice assessment, a voice therapy session, and a follow-up appointment, spanning a total of three weeks. Voice facilitating techniques were employed to lower the pitch, and then supplemented by visual and auditory feedback methods to strengthen the patient's control of the larynx. Auditory perception assessments, acoustic analyses, and patient self-reports were conducted before and after the treatment.ResultsThe results indicate a restoration of the patient's voice to a normal range and a reduction in psychological stress following the therapy.ConclusionThis case report once again underscores the significance of voice therapy for adolescents with puberphonia, as it addresses not only pitch-related issues but also assists in reestablishing normal interpersonal relationships.

      摘要:Functional dysarthria and phonological disorders are very common in speech sound disorders. In this paper, we propose a syllable-based intervention model for speech therapy based on the syllable theory by systematically reviewing the commonly used speech training theories and methods, and describe the basis, content and intervention principles of the syllable theory. In the process of clinical speech intervention, therapists should aim at communication and pay special attention to the rehabilitation training of Chinese native speakers when formulating intervention strategies. The syllable-based intervention model is an effective strategy for solving problems related to dysarthria and phonological disorders.

      摘要:Cerebellar mutism syndrome (CMS) is the most common complication following surgical resection of pediatric posterior fossa tumors, with an incidence ranging approximately from 8% to 40%. CMS is characterized by transient speech and language disturbances, motor dysfunction, emotional issues, and cognitive impairments. Speech disturbances typically manifest on the day of surgery or within a few days, with most recovering gradually within three months postoperatively. However, some patients may experience prolonged speech issues. Clinical manifestations of speech and language disturbances in CMS are diverse and include complete mutism, speech regression, reduced vocal intensity, and articulation disorders, among others. The course of CMS is complex, and different patients may exhibit different types of language disorders.Hypotheses regarding the pathogenesis of CMS include the cerebellar-cerebral circuit damage hypothesis, particularly the cerebellar-thalamo-cortical circuit (DTC), the Guillain-Mollaret triangle circuit, damage to the vermis of the cerebellum, and the postoperative edema hypothesis, among others. The research regarding the different types of language impairment among CMS is lack and need more attention. Future research directions include the development of specialized speech and language assessment tools, the establishment of prognostic models for CMS, aiming to better understand CMS and its speech and language disturbances, and enhancing the precision of diagnosis and treatment.

      摘要:ObjectiveThis study investigated the reliability and clinical utility of the Chinese version of the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI-C) in self-assessment.MethodsCollecting initial THI-C data from 180 patients with tinnitus as their primary complaint using both patient self-assessment and clinician-assessment. Follow-up THI-C data were collected through self-assessment for returning patients. Completion rates, score differences between self-assessment and clinician-assessment, agreement rates, and time consumption differences were compared.ResultsIt showed a clinician completion rate of 98.33% for initial THI-C assessments, while the self-assessment rate was 43.89%. The self-assessment score (48.71±26.75) was higher than the clinician-assessment score (41.11±21.69, P<0.01). The time taken for self-assessment (3.93±2.44 minutes) was significantly lower than that for clinician-assessment (7.67±1.81 minutes, P<0.01). During follow-up visits, the completion rates of THI-C for the 2nd to 5th visits were 49.4%, 51.2%, 43.5%, and 46.7%, respectively, with the average time taken were 3.44±1.76, 2.97±1.62, 2.88±1.48, and 2.42±1.44 minutes, respectively.ConclusionSelf-assessment for evaluating the severity of tinnitus using the THI-C exhibits low reliability and limited clinical utility.

      摘要:ObjectiveThis study was to make seven Pilot Directive monosyllable word lists with phonemic balance characteristics according to pilot mandatory speech vocabulary, evaluate the equivalence of Pilot Directive monosyllable words, and establish the performance-intensity function of flight personnel with normal hearing, and improve the speech audiometry system of flight personnel.MethodsAccording to the common requirements and the three-dimensional balance of Mandarin pronunciation and vowels, 250 monosyllable words used by military pilots were selected, and were recorded five Pilot Directive monosyllable word lists (each table contains fifty words). Thirty male active duty pilots (the age range 18-25 years) with normal hearing were selected as study subjects, five Pilot Directive monosyllable words serve as test vocabularies, six presentation levels (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 dB HL) were used for evaluation, and the record the speech recognition rate of each word list at each sound intensity. The order in which each subject's test word was listed was random. SPSS 26.0 was used to analyze the results.ResultsThese word lists were considered to be primarily equivalent with each other (P=0.111). The recognition rate scores showed significant differences under different sound levels (P<0.001). The average slope of the P-I function was 5.62%/dB. The average sound pressure level of speech corresponding to a 50% recognition score was (8.92±0.21) dB HL, and the steep slope was 5.25%/dB. The recognition rate of 20% to 80% linear area average slope is 4.39%/dB.ConclusionFive word lists of fifty words of these Pilot Directive monosyllable words can be considered to have equal difficulty, establish the performance-intensity function, and be used to test speech recognition.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo analyze the effect of cochlear implantation in children with bilateral profound sensorineural prelingual deafness.MethodsA total of 80 children with bilateral extremely severe sensorineural prelingual deafness admitted to our hospital from February 2018 to February 2022 were selected, and 40 children with asymmetric hearing loss were included in the control group for unilateral cochlear implantation. In addition, 40 children with symmetrical hearing loss were included in the observation group, and bilateral unilateral cochlear implantation was performed. The auditory behavior classification (CAP) and speech intelligibility classification (SIR) of the two groups before and after 6, 12 and 36 months of intervention were analyzed, and a multivariate logistic model was established to analyze the independent risk factors affecting CAP and SIR scores after bilateral cochlear implantation.ResultsThe CAP and SIR scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group at 12 and 36 months after intervention (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic analysis showed that age>3 years old, no use of hearing aids before surgery, time after implantation<1 year, and inner ear malformation were all independent risk factors affecting CAP and SIR scores in children with bilateral cochlear implantation (P<0.05).ConclusionBilateral cochlear implantation is an effective means for hearing compensation in children with bilateral profound sensorineural prelingual deafness. However, age, time after implantation, inner ear malformation and other factors may affect the recovery of hearing and speech function in children. Bilateral cochlear implantation as soon as possible and strengthening the prevention and intervention of related influencing factors can effectively promote the recovery of hearing and speech function in children.

      摘要:ObjectiveExplore the impact of noise exposure duration on auditory function, analyze the high-frequency hearing changes of aviation crews with different service years, and clarify the evolution of noise-induced hearing loss.Methods187 male aviation crews were divided into three groups based on their length of service, and pure tone hearing test was conducted to analyze the incidence of single ear high-frequency and binaural high-frequency noise-induced hearing loss, high-frequency average hearing threshold, and evolution of hearing loss in each group.ResultsThere were 26 cases of hearing loss in the 0-5 year working group, with a high-frequency Pure-tone average of 15.99 ± 11.42 dB, including 12 cases of high-frequency hearing loss in one ear and 14 cases of high-frequency hearing loss in both ears. Among the 43 cases with 6-10 years of work experience, there were 12 cases of hearing loss, with a high-frequency Pure-tone average of 15.90 ± 10.89 dB, including 7 cases of high-frequency hearing loss in one ear and 5 cases of high-frequency hearing loss in both ears. Among the 47 cases with over 10 years of work experience, there were 16 cases of hearing loss, with a high-frequency Pure-tone average of 20.56 ± 12.61 dB, including 5 cases of high-frequency hearing loss in the monaural and 11 cases of high-frequency hearing loss in the binaural.ConclusionThe incidence rate of noise-induced hearing loss in aviation crew did not increase with the working time. The average hearing threshold of high-frequency air conduction was significantly correlated with the working time. The onset of noise-induced hearing loss began at 6 kHz in monaural, and gradually extended to other high frequencies. With the extension of noise exposure, it developed into binaural noise-induced hearing loss and the degree of noise-induced hearing loss gradually increased.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the range of normal reference values of cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potentials in different age groups.MethodsSixty healthy volunteers were divided into children group and adult group, and the cervical vestibular myogenic potential was tested by Eclipse objective auditory test platform of WDH Group, and the data were analyzed statistically.ResultsStatistical results showed that there were no significant differences in P1 latency, Nl latency, P1-N1 wave interval, amplitude and asymmetry ratio between the left and right sides of the two groups. There were no significant differences in P1 latency, Nl latency, P1-N1 wave interval, amplitude and asymmetry ratio between the male and female groups. In the children group, the normal range of P1 and N1 was 13.97±1.46 ms, 21.82±1.85 ms, the normal range of amplitude was 100.71±91.17 μV, and the normal range of wave interval was 7.85±1.12 ms. In the adult group, the normal range of P1 and N1 was 16.11±2.23 ms, 24.66±2.35 ms, the normal range of amplitude was 61.26±27.74 μV and and the normal range of wave interval was 8.58±1.48 ms. There were significant differences in P1 latency, Nl latency, P1-N1 interval and amplitude between the two groups, but no significant differences in asymmetry ratio.ConclusionThe waveform and parameters of cervical vestibular myogenic potential have no correlation with left or right side and gender. The latency and interphase of cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potentials increase with age, while the amplitude decreases with age.

      摘要:Total laryngectomy is the main strategy for the treatment of advanced laryngeal cancer; however, total laryngectomy remains a life-changing procedure that has a profound impact on the voice. Postoperative patients inevitably lose the larynx as a vocal organ, resulting in voice loss. Vocal reconstruction for laryngectomized patients is currently performed from three modalities: esophageal speech, tracheoesophageal speech, and electronic laryngeal speech. Voice is also generally assessed from perceived voice scales, self-assessment scales or questionnaires, and acoustic instrument measurements. In this paper, we will trace and summarize the voice assessment after total laryngectomy, focusing on the current mainstream assessment methods and exploring the voice quality after total laryngectomy.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo explore the influence of family environment on the speech function recovery of prelingual deaf children after cochlear implantation.Methods84 children with prespeech deafness who underwent cochlear implantation in our hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the investigation objects.The Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version (FES-CV) was used to evaluate the family environment of the children at 1 months, 3 months, and 6 months after the operation; categories of auditory performance(CAP) and speech intelligibility rating (SIR) were used to evaluate the degree of postoperative speech ability recovery in children, and the correlation between each dimension of FES-CV and CAP and SIR was tested.ResultsThe CAP and SIR scores of prelingual deaf children were significantly improved 6 months after cochlear implantation; the intimacy, emotional expression, independence, knowledge, and entertainment dimensions were positively correlated with CAP and SIR scores, and contradictory was negatively correlated with them, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionClinical medical staff can mobilize the enthusiasm of prelingual deaf children for postoperative training and improve the effect of postoperative speech ability recovery by formulating a family-based rehabilitation training plan.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo explore the effect of early reading and phonological processing training on the reading ability of hearing-impaired children.MethodsFrom January 2021 to June 2022, 157 children with hearing impairment were randomly selected from a school and divided into group A (52 cases), group B (54 cases) and group C (51 cases) by the random number table method. Group A received early reading intervention, group B received phonological processing training, and group C received early reading and phonological processing training combined intervention. After 6 months of continuous intervention, the reading ability of the children in each group was compared.ResultsAfter 6 months of intervention, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT) scores and picture recognition/ranking scores of the three groups increased, and group C was significantly higher than group A and group B (P<0.05). The comparison of children's scores on reading related skills showed that after 6 months of intervention, the quick naming scores of letters/numbers in all 3 groups decreased. The scores of alphabetic phonics and Chinese character reading standards increased, the scores of quick naming of letters/numbers in group C were significantly lower than those in group A and group B, and the scores of phonetic phonics and Chinese character reading standards were significantly higher than those in group A and group B (P<0.05). 6 months after the intervention, the three groups were compared in Categories of Auditory Performance (CAP) and Speech Intelligibility Rating (SIR), and group C was significantly higher than group A and group B (P<0.05).ConclusionsEarly reading and phonological processing training can improve hearing-impaired children's reading ability to some extent, and the combination of the two methods is better.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo explore the effects of speech rehabilitation training based on articulation training on the hearing, speech ability and intelligence development of children with oral resonance disorder.MethodsChildren with preverbal deafness and hearing disorder of oral resonance disorder admitted to our hospital from February 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into the observation group (40 cases) and the control group (39 cases) by the random number table method. Both groups received routine rehabilitation intervention. The observation group received speech rehabilitation training based on articulation organ motor function correction on the basis of the control group. The brainstem auditory evoked potential was measured before and after intervention, and the oral resonance parameters were analyzed by recording equipment and software. The hearing and language competence and intelligence development of children with hearing impairment were evaluated by the Standards and Methods of Hearing and Language Competence Assessment for Children with Hearing Impairment and Gesell Child Development Scale.Results① The latency of wave I, wave III and wave V in the two groups were prolonged after intervention (P<0.05), and the latency of wave I, wave III and wave V in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). ②After intervention, formant /a/F1 and /i/F2 values were increased and /u/F2 values were decreased in the two groups (P<0.05). After intervention, formant /a/F1 and /i/F2 values in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), and /u/F2 values were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). ③There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of auditory ability, speech ability, language behavior and adaptive behavior of Gesell scale between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05), and the scores of each item in the observation group were higher than those in the control group after intervention (P<0.05).ConclusionSpeech rehabilitation training can improve the hearing-impaired children's oral resonance disorders, and improve their listening and speech ability and intelligence development.

      摘要:ObjectiveA patient with persistent hoarseness was trained and the effectiveness of the training method was explored.MethodsA 7-year-old, female child with hoarseness for 7 years was enrolled, and had been treated for many times with drugs and vocal rest in the hospital ineffectively. The diagnosis is vocal cord nodules and muscle tone vocal disorder (MTD), and training contents are as follows: vocal hygiene, relaxation exercises, breathing exercises, resonance training, semi-closed vocal training, ect.ResultsAfter eight weeks of intervention, the glottic squeezing was improved, and the auditory perception assessment changed from severe to mild, and F0 increased from pre-treatment 191.06 Hz to 229.41 Hz after treatment, and the Jitter decreased from 2.24% to 0.24% after treatment; The Shimmer decreased from 12.12% before treatment to 8.2% after treatment, and the S/Z ratio decreased from 2.04 before treatment to 1.02 after treatment; Jitter and Shimmer decreased compared with pre-treatment, suggesting irregular vocal cord vibration movement decreases. A decrease in the S/Z ratio indicates an increase in vocal efficiency.ConclusionVoice training is currently the preferred way to treat vocal difficulties in children, and have good efficacy,especially for children with hoarseness and other symptoms caused by excessive voices use and misuse.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo improve the auditory perception of patients with sequential implantation of bilateral cochlear implants through cochlear implant adjustment, and achieve bilateral auditory symmetry and matching, and improve speech resolution ability of cochlear implants.MethodsUse the hardware and software of the cochlear implant adjustment instruments to measure the electrical stimulation parameters required for the patient's bilateral cochlear implant. Evaluate and quantify the efficacy of cochlear implants through sound field assisted hearing threshold testing, speech audiometry, and subjective scales,Coach patients to use auditory assisted wireless devices to improve signal-to-noise ratio in noisy environments, and use wireless microphones for sentence testing under different signal-to-noise ratios.ResultAfter adjustment,for the bilateral hearing aid ears, the hearing PTA was 20-30 dB HL, and the left (implanted in 2013) speech recognition rates were 46.7% for monosyllabic words, 63% for bisyllabic words, 74% for quiet sentences, and 32% for sentences with+10 dB signal-to-noise ratio noise. The speech recognition rates on the right side were 66% for monosyllabic words, 60% for disyllabic words, 45% for quiet sentences, and 45% for sentences with+10 dB signal-to-noise ratio noise. After using bilateral cochlear implants for one year, the speech recognition rates were 76% for monosyllabic words, 75% for disyllabic words, 96% for quiet sentences, and 34% for sentences with+10dB signal-to-noise ratio noise. Using wireless microphones to assist cochlear implants in testing sentence recognition rate+ the 10 dB signal-to-noise ratio score was 52%, the+5 dB signal-to-noise ratio score was 64%, the 0 dB signal-to-noise ratio score was 30%, the -5 dB signal-to-noise ratio score was 34%, and the -10 dB signal-to-noise ratio score was 18%. Discussion For this patient with severe or above hearing impairment, the effect of sequential bilateral implantation is clearly superior to unilateral implantation. The effect of cochlear implant is affected by the base note device. Audiologists can recommend the use of assistive devices to maximize the implant's listening performance in complex environments.

      摘要:Noonan syndrome (NS) is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by multiple system impairments, such as distinctive facial deformities, congenital heart defects, short stature, cryptorchidism, lymphatic malformations, hemorrhagic disorders, and skeletal malformations.Some patients have hearing difficulties.It has been reported that NS is a rare cause of sensorineural deafness.This study describes a patient with Noonan syndrome with bilateral severe hearing loss who underwent a successful cochlear implantation. In 2019, the child was admitted to the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University with neurological deafness, special facial features and growth and development problems, and was diagnosed as Noonan syndrome type 1 after whole exome sequencing detected the presence of C.417G >C pathogenic variation in PTPN11 gene. In this study, the mutation identification of pathogenic gene PTPN11 can assist clinical diagnosis, and provide guidance for genetic counseling of family members and future eugenics of patients.

      摘要:ObjectiveTo understand the experience and needs of parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using a digital intervention tool for cognitive training.MethodsDescriptive research methods were used to conduct semi-structured interviews with 17 parents of children with ASD, and their experiences and needs in managing their children's 6-week digital cognitive rehabilitation training were analyzed and summarized.ResultsThere are 5 main themes to summarize: insufficient personalization, requiring stronger personalized settings; human-computer interaction is not smooth, requiring better product performance; the logic of promoting rehabilitation plans is unclear, and a clearer plan is needed for promotion; rehabilitation dimensions are single, requiring multi-field rehabilitation content; insufficient parental support, hoping for more guidance.ConclusionThe design and development of digital intervention tools need to focus on personalized settings, product performance, and the richness of training content. At the same time, it is also necessary to consider the functional authority of parents to participate in management, and focus on empowering parents to improve the experience of parents and children in the digital intervention process.

The elderly often have multiple underlying medical conditions that make them unable to tolerate general anesthesia. In this case, cochlear implant surgery under local anesthesia was performed and residual hearing was preserved, we aims to explore the feasibility of local anesthesia in cochlear implant surgery for age related hearing loss.
